Desktop Power Supply Help

Okay, I have been searching around the board and trying to figure out what power supply that I need for my computer so I can put it into my car without a power inverter and that the computer can turn on and off when I turn the car on. What I have is a Compaq SR1023WM and from what I have looked up here is what it says about the motherboard

Would the M2-ATX or the M4-AtX work on this motherboard to run in the car. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. I do know about wiring things in cars but trying to rewire this computer to run off of 12v instead of 110 is something new to me other than putting in a power inverter and would like that to be my last option. Thanks again for any help anyone can give me.

Old pc much? Anyhew, I love the inverter route personally, I run a 1000W inverter in my cargo area with the pc plugged in and then route a power strip under the passenger seat for any and all sorts of stuffs including the touchscreen and usb hubs. Inverter even has a remote to it. Can also run stuff off it when car camping too which is nifty. Good quality inverters also have chassis grounds which eliminate near all noise from the system which is all the better. If you really wanna do it without an inverter, there is almost no way of knowing the power specs of that system without a watt meter. Plug this into your wall and then the computer into it and it will tell you how much you are using.
