Powering my computer for testing

Ok everyone before you say anything, or get upset i've read all the post on this so I will give you the situation. I purchased new equipment to replace my old setup wich was an old laptop I had well I bought the all in on carpc from mobile computing solutions. with that came a power brick to npower the carpc in the house so that you can load software and test before you insatall it in you car. Well they sent instructuions for everything but the power brick. if you know these all in on pc's they have 3 wires white, red and black the power brick has 2 wires red and white so wich wires from the pc should connect to the red and white wires from the power brick.

wires? If it is a home brick, it should have a plug should it not?

talk with mcs, they are usually quite helpful

a home brick for the car, a seperate dc for car (unless its one of those multifunctional ones where you have to pick the voltage and tips to connect to the laptop?)

why would you use a home brick in the car???? Unless you have an inverter, but then that would be pointless if you have a dc already. Whats going on???

Hi,
The whole idea behind our power brick is to be able to power the computer in the house with out having to modify anything. It IS NOT for use in the car. The connections are simple. Connect the white wire on the power brick to the black ground wire that was included. Connect the red wire of the power brick to the included red/white wires that are connected. Then match the wire colors to the ones on our computer. Red to red, white to white, and black to black. Removing the white wire will simulate turning the key off on your car.
