Depends if your head unit has an aux, ret, or other switched power output in the rear. Many do, many don't. Personally, I built my own switch because I really don't like the idea of the pc coming on and off when I so much as go 5 minutes to the grocery store.
Simple switch:
Cat5 cable leads from power and led headers on mb to front of vehicle
Cat5 receiver splits cable into wires
small plastic box, red push button, 2 leds, makes switch for 5$ from radioshack
power on, power off,
Especially if you are not replacing the head unit, I find this to be quite easy.
You would also need to have more of a plan because whether you are using an inverter or a dc-dc psu and several other things factor into this.
