M2-ATX + VIA MB Strange Behavior

Hi guys,
I’ve connected my M2-ATX according to the diagram of the product, Black(Ground), Red(Ignition) and White(12V+), but It didn’t work ! after a 2 hours trial & error session, I’ve managed to power-up my Carputer through an external Switch which actually initiates a circuit to the power-supply (M2-ATX) from the Ground and closes it once the car ignition is off (and with the jumper being in mode A it takes some time for the M2-ATX to completely shut-off –which is fine) …

Now what is strange is that after some time (around 20 – 40) mins the MB shuts off and then keep restarting again multiple times before finally being able to normally start??? and that takes around 2-5 minutes ?! then everything is fine …

Does anyone had the same issue before ? I have read some threads where the carputer shuts down automatically, but that’s a different story … so could you please help me out ???

I've had this problem but it happened when I first started my carpc build 3 years ago. I'll try to remember what fixed it. I know I'm not being helpful but I'm just letting you know that you're not alone.

Thumbs up Omg

Thanks for the support Leprechaun

Actually I decided to open my Voom PC2 case to check what's going on ... and guess what I found One of the capacitors has fallen off the M2-ATX board I guess I wasn't careful enough the last time I closed the case (because of the tons of wires running under that case) anyway I replaced that capacitor and everything is working fine again
