Just wanted to check about wiring

I wanna make sure I am on the right track. To wire my psu, m2-atx, to the car battery, I am gonna run a 8 gauge cable from the battery (+) with a 60 amp fuse near the battery. Then I need to downsize the cable to whatever size m2-atx cables are. They look like a 14 to me I'll find out for sure or you can tell me Do I have to use a distro block to go from 8 awg to smaller? Can that be done via just a fuse since I am not hookin anythin else for the power And also I can just extend the ignition wire to the radio power and splice into it right? I would only need a fuse there?

Thanks for the help

No, you don't need a distro block.
There are cable gage reducers you can get at electronics shops. You can also solder a short piece (a couple of inches) of the thinner wire to the larger piece and cover with heatshrink.

And yes, you can simply tap into an acc line from the radio harness. You don't need a fuse on that line.
