Maybe you can rig something up with a conductor that zigzags side to side just below the track, with a lot of current going through it. Then you could rig up a coil in the car, that uses the resulting MLOF to generate a voltage, faraday style.

Surely building a minature fusion reactor shouldn't be that difficult these days

As entertaining as this thread is, I think we need to stop this before any more solar panels start to produce light and such.

@OP: No it is not possible. You cannot generate that much power with a solar panel that size to do anything but light up an led really. That is why when you get a solar panel, there are huge arrays of them and they produce diddly squat.

Perhaps a mobile fully enclosed nuclear generator is in order. And you wont need the battery then (or have room for it, that is where the coolant will have to go)

How about a flux capacitor? You can rig it to discharge slowly over the entire race. If it was a flux, you'd get LOTS of run time before it discharges. They operate at 1.1 jigawatts. More than enough for your car.

a really small generator would work. but idk how to make one.

The easiest way would probably be to build a small hydro-electric plant. It needs water to power it, so you take 50-100 gallons of water and boil it off on your stove ahead of time, shrinking it down until it can fit into a small tank that can feed into the water turbines that can be carried by your car without slowing it down.

You know Nasa have discovered a new means of powering the mars rover using the friction generated from the contact between the wheels and the surface of the planet. They say its not a lot of power but it is enough to recharge 1500milliamps in such a way that there is unlimited reusable power in the device.

Its the first working perpetual motion device that has been tested off the planet and they are quite happy with the results at the moment.

I sent them an E-mail and I dont know how i could get that to work for my little car.
Thats why i have been having so much trouble is because the size...

Do you really think you could get this to work?

Yea that would be cool but i need something easier and my car isnt that big i dont think to get that.
Where would i get the constant water flow also?

i need like instructions and i think it might work but idk yet
