M2-ATX Wiring Configuration

I looked at the FAQ for this, but it doesn't look to have a definitive answer in it...

Is there polarity on J8?

Also, I just connect J8 to my mboard's SWITCH jumper and J9 to my PC case's power button?

there's no polarity on J8. It's basically an open circuit - the switch shorts the two pins together, closing the circuit and telling the computer to turn on.

Correct. Connect J8 to the motherboard's On/Off switch, and your case's power switch to J9. J9 is only needed if you want to manually turn the computer on/off via the switch.
