P-1290 acting up?

Okay, in short...
I've had my car-pc running for a month or so, with no problems...
Suddenly, while listening to loud music, it just cut off, and ever since...

When I crank the engine, the amps give a small "thump" (this i usual)
Then I hear the beep from the pc starting up, and then a "thump" again...
Second "thumb" turns off the pc, not shoting it down, just killing the power.

If I take out the cable from the pc, which is the "turn on /shut down" controller, and manually turn power on on the pc, it works fine...
If I then put in the "turn on/shut down" cable again, it takes 2-3 seconds, and the power goes completely again....

Any suggestions? It really bugs me that it just happened out of nothing! And I can't find any problems with the wiring I made?
