hibernation problem - did I just kill my M2-ATX?

So I was glue-ing down my M2 to my case over the weekend, and afterwards I noticed that it would not hibernate properly. When I switch my "ignition" line off, the computer waits 5 seconds, then begins to go into hibernation. However, the entire computer shuts off before the computer is able to copy the RAM to the hard drive. Even stranger is the CPU fan stays on after the computer is off, and it isn't until 45seconds later until it stops. This is with the jumper in the 5s/45s setting.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

okay i think i fixed it. I noticed a capacitor on my motherboard was slightly bent due to moving stuff around in the case. I bent it back straight and it now hibernates fine.

Be careful with that, that could be a potential problem in the future. I'd throw a whole bunch of hot glue on the cap...
