Question 24V dc supply

Hi all,

haven't been here for quite a while for two reasons, my car is ready (accept for the fold up/down assembly for my TFT) and the other main reason is that I bought a ship which I now regard as home...
I have to ways of powering everything, 1st 220V (the netherlands) when I'm a harbour which I get from shore and 24V from my batteries.
So my obvious remark: I need an 24V dc-dc supply, I know this can't be very hard to make because I can step down everything. Question: which regulators should I use, I want a heavy duty supply powering AMD 2200+, 160gb 7200 rpm, DVD... the works.

any advice?

thanks!

There are tons of high power 24V DC-DC ATX PSU. 12V automotive PSU is the one that's hard to find. Do a search on google.

I know there are a lot ready made for sale, but I like to my own stuff, so I'm looking for powerfull regulators or other stuff I can use to build a psu.

BTW I checked the links you added, but none of them have price quotations, know any sites that do?
