p1900 problems ive never seen

so here lately, my p1900 has been acting funny. most of the time when i turn the ignition off, display and amp turn off but come right back on a second or two. and today, it never shut down. the only way i have solved this is by yanking the fuse to reset the p1900. it works like it should just once when i do that. im running version 2.2

anyone know what the problem could be? wires touching or grounding out that i should look for? jumper settings preferred or suggested that i should have set.

First things first, has it work correctly before and for how long?

Secondly, have you worked on or played with anything in your vehicle?

Assuming it has worked correctly for a period of time and you haven't touched anything, I'd recommend disconnecting the power wires to the P1900 for a few hours and then plugging it back them back in. That will reset the unit.

I've had a P1900 and a P2140 and they're very glitch to say the least.

yea its worked correctly like it should since the day i got it. ive had it for little over a year now. havent messed with anything in the car. no need to.

that must be it then, a glitch. ive unplegged the fuse a couple of times for a very very short time and it seemed to work after that. but just once. maybe ill leave it unplugged for a little bit longer this time.

My P2140 decided last week that it would randomly shutdown the computer. I opened up my dash, checked all my connections, and today it doesn't even want to start. Pulled the plug for an hour, plugged it back in and it's fine. Drives me crazy.
