OPUS 120 issue?

EDIT: See my last post in this thread - the issue was corrected with a new MB.

Original Post:=========================

I just got an Opus 120 from the store and it worked fine for a day or so. Now booting up the PC is sporadic at times. When it doesn't power on completely the MB LED will come on but the Opus flashes twice every couple of seconds which the manual says is a power on failure. Sometimes the system will start to power up and the shut-off abruptly. I've tested the system with an ATX power supply and cannot get the same issue to occur. I tried all the steps in the manual but think it may be the power supply. Anyone use this one and have a similar issue or have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Punky is on a distinguished road
sounds like your motherboard power switch wire is backward.

okay here's a partial update. I tested the Opus with a switch on the MB instead of letting the Opus turn it on. I can power the PC on every time with a seperate switch and connected to the opus. I replaced the cable thinking it might be a short and the issue is still there. I contacted Opus to see if they have any suggestions. I didn't have a chance to check it tonight but I will get readings of my incoming voltage tomorrow. The error code doesn't suggest it's power but you never know.

Here's another update on this (if anyone is watching this thread). Opus says it is a timing issue with the PSU and my MB. They want me to send in the Opus with my motherboard or time the amount of time it takes from power to be supplied until the board can be started.

Thoughts?

Thought I would post back on this. My D945GCLF2 died the other day. It was working fine and then would no longer POST. I RMA'd my board and the new board has been running fine on my current setup. Even the power up issues are gone. Due to this I did not send in my PSU. Time will tell if the issues happen again.
