Angry p2140 low output

Hi I got a p2140 from the mp3car store few weeks back. I followed this thread to install it

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/powe...-question.html

I have 2 problems actually. First when I install the psumon it says application error 0000007f ... and will not start. I installed the dotnetfix but it didnt help. I installed it on another xp machine and it works fine. Now the bigger problem. The 2 round silver things near the 8 pin moldex connects is getting very Hot but the power supply works normal...just has that burning electronic smell. The dlyon is only registering 1.5 volts. Not enough to remote power on the amp. It powers the pc fine.

I have sent several posts to the carnetix support forum (as well as pm to the moderators) but the post is moderated and they have not approved the post. I have also sent mp3car store several emails with no response on a rma. I have got to be honest I am a little disappointed in the support both from carinetix and mp3car.
