Newbie....help regarding inverter and wiring..

Im sure this question has been asked, but I cant see to fina a question. Im pretty new to the scene. I just finished fiberglassing in my 10.6 inch lcd screen, and now im setting up my computer..

Im going to use an inverter for now, just because one is easily accessible. Will a 400w inverter be alright? Now my main question is this. How do I wire the inverter/computer so that when i turn the car on the computer will boot up...If I just wire the inverter to the accessory power supply wont it get messed up during cranking? Also, how can I make the computer start as soon as power is supplied (basically I want to get rid of the need for the computer power switch). Shutting down isnt too big of a problem, because I dont mind waiting while the computer shuts down before I turn the car off. Starting is my main concern. At the top right portion of the screen, under the banner, you will find a search button. Use this to search for "inverter" or "cranking" or any vague term related to your query. Many results will be returned. Read through each until you find the answer you seek. You will find alot of other neat info during your journey.

Whats the price on it? I could probobly afford it next paycheck, but how much is it gonna cost me? Also, I used the search before, but I cant find anything...and all the stuff that i find im too retarded to understand. I will prob buy the opus because it seems to simplify things with the shutdown and everything...where can I get it tho, and how much is it gonna cost me?
