are you new here? If your planning to make a home epia computer then this will be just fine. Otherwise it wont work for your car.

Well, if they ever come out with the regulating part to go with it, then it would be usable.

I have the pw70A model. That works fine at home, but in the car I don't know yet...
Is it possible to make a the regularting part by your own ? If yes I would be happy to know how.

They do dc2dc - with a nice regulated 12v source.
12 output is usually unregulated, so what goes in, comes out, straight into your mobo and drives.

Although in theory you could just regulate the OUTPUT of the 12v rail using an LM7812, thus cleaning up that 12v nicely. I think the actual psu could cope with 14.4 input for the other voltages.

I have a pw-70a / 120 (same thing, they just decided to rate it higher)
So far, Im not too thrilled with it.
Yes, it will work fine, yes it spits out +/- 3v , could damage something. yes you could easily regulate it, but - The first one I had died during testing... the replacement blew a fuse when I added my LCD (still well within the ratings for current draw)
My pw70 is sitting in a box, and will continue to do so for the forseable future.
I bought an opus
