150 watt ps without a case....is it as stupid as it sounds?

How bad would it be to install an opus 150 watt ps without the case? I dont think it would be a good idea to leave it exposed, but figured I would ask cause I dont know of any good places to buy a ps extension, since it wont fit anywhere near my mobo if its in its case. Thanks guys,

i have mine installed without the case. Its the only way I can fit into my computer case. Although I did make sure the PSU solder contact and or what not NOT touching anything. If it shorts it can get dangeruos.
