Opus Solutions = Professional

I know many of you would rather make or buy cheaper DC-DC power supplies.....I can understand that, but I just have to give credit to Kris at Opus Solutions. I bought the 150w ps in January and it started acting strange this summer. I next day shipped it to Kris and he fixed it, and had it back to me in 2 days! Kris never asked me if it was my fault or even tried to throw blame. It very well could have been my fault, but he did not even budge.

I know the Opus is expensive, but the customer service is worth it!

Like I said...I wanted to point this out for people who are trying to make their mind up on buying an Opus ps. Like I said, I understand if you make your own or buy something cheaper(dont want to get Sprongy freak hate mail)

I know this sounds like an opus kiss ***, but I have never had service like this before with ANY of my computer/electronic devices.

Thank you Kris.

I second the recommendation for Opus. I emailed my order and called Kris to give the credit card info. My unit was shipped on time and I have not yet had any problem with it! The time you'd have to spend trying to build a solution that works half as well as the Opus more than makes the price worth it.

Even tho I have had TWO major mistakes by Opus, I would most likely still recommend them. Just so you understand the 2 mistakes, here they are:

1) Paid for the $10 remote option for the new 90W Opus and never received the wires for it. E-mailed Kris and he sent it to me right away!

2)Received the connector and went to install it and noticed that none of the connectors were on the actual board itself....he sent me the wrong PS!!

I just finished installing it when I got the remote option wires and now I will probably have to uninstall it all and send it back to him and wait another 2 weeks before I get my new one!

*Edit* Except I am trying to go to their website and it is down....ahhh man this is really starting to SUCK!
