opus and inverter quick q

Just one real quick question witha quick answer:

I am gonna get the 150w opus psu and an inverter to power my pc and lcd monitor, respectively. if i follow the instructions from both the psu and inverter, do i need to buy any other things to protect my equipment such as regularos, etc,, or are the two designed for immediate implementation? tahnks for responses.

um... opus is a dc-dc power supply... meaning no inverter required

Sounds like he has an AC-powered LCD monitor, and he's planning on using the Opus to power the computer and the inverter to power the LCD.

sweetrobot2k: Depending on what screen you have, how you're planning to install it, etc., you may be able to power the screen using the Opus. Tell us what you've got and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

exactly as u said, i need teh ac for the lcd, which is standard LCD monitor for desktop

Check the voltage needs of the LCD monitor. You may be able to run the monitor power off of the compter power supply.

I am currently running my desktop LCD from my regular computer power supply with no problems.
