Hi All,

Recently found the site and it is very detailed, scattered and teaching me many new things but ultimately is raising more questions than I can find answers to.

Is there an A-Z list of parts I will need for an inverter setup in my car,

I have been reading about start up / shutdown controllers, tank circuits, back up batteries and all sorts of other things, which of these do I need?

Intended scenario
Full PC + various USB accessories and 15" LCD wired to inverter and not wired to ignition, I would like to control the on/off status of the computer regardless of whether the engine is running.

Hope this starts a resourceful thread for other newbies such as myself
