i need a Cheap psu

hi i live in brisbane australia and really cant afford to pay upwards of 150 dollars for a car psu if u can give me a hand in order to sort out a cheap options please drop me aline im new to the concept of carputers but not to computers ive been modding along time

Cheap version : Buy an inverter plus standard PC psu. Then deal with the hassle it gets you (potential audio noise, size, low efficiency).

I recommend you do it right the first time and stump up the cash. I read someone's .sig somewhere that said something along the lines of "There's never the time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over." How true. Since time is money I reckon you can replace the word time with money in that saying and it'll still hold true.

i have a back ground in electronics i can make stuff up but was never to hot at designing my own stuff i can make to a plan and shopping list so if anyone knows where i can veiw a kit in english ill so do that
