does my opus PS work right?

Those of you with the opus are you able to turn on and power your computer without powering the IGN wire too? (or whatever you attached it to)... Also, if you do this does it randomly shut down the computer?

I am waiting on my alarm install to run the third wire for the opus PS, and used it really quick last night while driving to a car meet. It worked gread except for randomly shutting down. I hope this is not something I will have to worry about when that last wire is connected.

Sounds odd, it shouldn't power up without a 12v feed to the ignition line.

I talked to Chris at Opus and he informed me that this is normal. The computer will stay on for 20 minutes of you dont have the ACC wire connected and have an external power button for the MOBO. He doesnt reccoment the external switch but I just put it in for any emergency starting or shutting down.
