How long does Jeff Mucha thake to ship his Shutdown controller?

I've heard stories saying that jeff takes months and months to supply these shutdown controllers.

I've tried email him and no answer. What are your experiences?

It will not take a month. Yes, he can be unresponsive, but usually gets the products out in a timely manner. You won't get an email confirmation of any sort, it will just show up in your mailbox about a week later.

It's been more than 2 weeks and it's still not here. Ordered it on 1/26. He emailed me on 2/2 saying that it's on the way. It's now 2/11 and still nothing.

He lives in India I think so don't expect it to be there ASAP, give him 2-3 weeks.

You are confusing him with Mastero. Jeff lives in the northwestern U.S.

get one from Mastero

He has much better service than Jeff does, took me like one month to get mine
From Jeff + I always had to bug him with emails, When I ordered one from Mastero he sent it out right away+ Always in contact with me and very good support, and I do like his product very much.

It can take as many as 3 weeks sometimes because of supply streams and stuff. You will get your controller.

I'd be careful about Mastero's knock off controller, it is a copy of my design and I suggested he use heavier than 24 gauge wire. I don't know if he took my advice. Also he uses tiny traces for high current runs and a relay that can't handle 25 amps.

Hello Jeff,

You make me look bad

I had asked your permission before i copied and marketed your design.

And yes i have considered your advice.

It Handles 40amps.
No wires.
Polarity potection.
Main ic on holder for easy replacement.
No smd part used.
Added input and output capacitor for the VR.

You can have a look at it here www.mastero.tk

BTW if you want me to stop selling the sdc its fine with me. Just say the word and i will direct everyone to you.

Cheers
Mastero

Well I don't know about you guys, but I can make my decision just by looking at both the controllers. Pay the $5 extra (unless you're in the US then it's the same price) and wait for Jeff's, mine only took a week, and that's coming to Canada.
