Powering a reversed camera - using car

Hi ,


I would like to buy the camera how can i connect it to the car power ? and not the opus?... if possible...

P.S. please explain me how to connect it to the opus if possible, just for tryouts.

just wire those two wires up to the 12 volt power and ground on your opus.

Better yet wire it to the reverse lights so when you shift into reverse it powers up. In addition, you could wire a relay to the reverse lights that would switch the video input into your screen to the camera while in reverse.

I think it's cooler to have it powered on all the time, so you can see the cars behind you when your driving too.

yeah - just need the software that allows you to add a button to your interface for "Survellience"... heh heh

But it would be cool to have it auto switch to show the camera view when you go into reverse - same way I had to hook up my auto-dimming rearview mirror.

My auto-dimming mirror in my STi automatically undims when I shift into reverse.
