What amperage do I need on my battery isolator??? HELP!

Okay, so I have done a TON of research, and pretty much narrowed my isolator choices to the following:

http://deeptronics.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id/1111

or

http://hellroaring.com/bic75300.htm

The difference is that the NewMar one has a continuous voltage of 100 AMPS
The Hellroaring one has a continuous voltage of 150-180 AMPS

My audio system has a 851watt amp. I also have 2 6x9's, a surround sound receiver, and my tv / dvd player in my dash. My alternator outputs about 130 AMPS. Im not an electrical engineer and know nothing about amps, etc, which one of these isolators is the best for me??

current is drawn by the devices pulling the power ... it's not 'pushed' by the battery.

i believe that 150-180 amps is a range of maximum RMS power based on polarity.

looks like the hellroaring should be fine and looks to be the better option.

you may want to look into upgrading your alternator later... your system might be pushing the 130amp ceiling.
