Opus is releasing any day now a new power supply, 5V & 12V or 12V. From what i understand it's possible it's going to be cheap. That would solve all USB powerdown problems. Also i know this wont help all that already have an OPUS 150W but the next revision is going to be a 200-220W with 5STBY shutdown option, and that should be out in less than a month or two.

200-220W would be cool with the new OPUS.
I have a PC Power and Cooling 100W I bought long ago...

No it wouldn't. It looks like an ATX extension cable with a relay attached to it and 1 wire hanging out. Everything is wrapped in loom and taped. If want to know what it looks like untaped, check the schematic. The square on the left is your Opus. The one on the right is your computer. The line up top is all of the wires (except the two indicated) that run between your computer and PSU. The other lines are the important wires and they are labeled. The diodes are the the little triangle shaped thingies. The two switches and the the coil are the relay.

is it firm that they are goin to be releaseing this new one ? Cause I don't want to be dealing with this usb hub problem I am in the process of building a carpc I get a psu in the case i gettin but changin it over to a OPUS so which is better to do wait it out or go in for a 150w

i guess my only confusion is what pins to wire things to on the relay; arent there usually numbers (85,87,87a,86,30) to indicate which pole?
also, whats that rectangle with a diagnol line below the relay?

As far as I know, not all relays have the numbers. If you buy one at radio shack, it will tell you the pin assignment on the back of the package. You can then just wire it up as I've indicated (plain english or schematic).
The rectangle with the diagnol line is the relay coil.
