@Mastero. Is there any possibility of a add on board or modification to the circuit to have a higher amp capacity on the 12V line? I thought I would ask while you are still in the design / testing phase.
Keep up the excellent work!

Wicked cool! I've been combing over all the old sproggy threads this week and just ordered most of the parts for the mk-3.5. I guess I'll hold off on assembly until the new PCB and/or schematic is posted.
I'm glad to learn that this version doesn't share the +5v as that appeared to be the glaring weekness of the mk-3.5.
Mastero, were there any changes to the PG signal generation or will the new version use the same circuit?

That sounds spectacular, Mastero! Well done!
Are there any 'special' / hard to get parts that we must start hunting down?

I been working with Mastero on this for over a month. I am glad the light is on. Yeahhhhhhhhh
Rando, if you want to see the sproggy 3.5 in action. Come to the Socal meet. My custom sproggy is the combination of Mk3.5 and the new Mk4 (12v section).
The 12V on MK4 (as on mine) provent to work on 2 WD HD 0.24A each and 2 16X DVD ROM 2A each. All amp listed are for the 12V. Yes I am not crazy to run 2 DVD ROM but that is for testing only.
As of survial cranking. Well, At 8V during cranking the PSU still running fine, but my Supra can't start at that voltage.
Those of you who can't wait for Opus, Sproggy is your other option, much cheaper and probably as good as Opus or maybe better.

I think cheesyhoward was asking about the part number, not the vendor.
Is it too early to release some of the specifics?

You made a very good job.
but i think the 3.3 and 5 modules are wrong with LM2687-3.3 AND LM2687-5
In National site i can't find the LM2687-3.3 AND LM2687-5
maybe it's the LM2 587-3.3 AND LM2 587-5 write ?
