National Samples??

I am building an MK4 and i tried to get samples off national.com of the required pieces. Unfortunately i received emails this morn saying that the samples were not being sent - no other reason!!

Did i do something wrong when i placed my order? I said it was for an automotive application -what should it be?
Maybe it is my location -Ireland - Will they ship here?

Is there any other way of obtaining there parts? My local farnell wants €15 each per chip!! Would anyone be kind enough to send me some of their excess samples??

www.cpc.co.uk - can't recommend them high enough... ( Although owned by Farnell ).

seems like a good site - but they dont seem to sell any national parts at all -at least i couldnt find them. Any links:??

Ring and ask... they say they can get any thing... Most of my CarPC came from there as the national distrib center is around 5 miles away.
