Thoughts & Comments on this PSU

Hi all,

I've been having a look around, and I wondered if you have any thoughts or comments on this:
http://linitx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=342

The datasheet is here:
http://www.watt-power.co.uk/WPPS80.PDF

I know it's no Opus. I realise it most probably won't survive the crank (10.8v isn't low enough).. BUT, it does appear to regulate the 12v rail, so maybe suited to people wanting to use 3.5" drives in their car pc.

I'm hoping someone with a bit more savvy on cars + PSU's can tell me more, 'cos at that price it looks good to me.
(Could be combined with an ITPS with 12v passthrough mod)

Sorry to bump this, but I'm still curious if anyone has any experience with this?
