opus shutdown on power off to hibernate (want either hardware or software solution)

is there a way, with hardware or software, to make the shutdown signal that the opus sends to the mobo a hibernate signal instead?

i'm guessing the hardware workaround would be messy/unnecessary, and am hoping for an easy software one.

There is no distinction. The Opus just pulses the power on/off button on your mainboard. It's up to software to decide what to do. Assuming you're using XP, go into your Power Options control panel and configure windows to hibernate when the power button is pressed.

Alot of Motherboards support a feature such as Standby/Hibernate/Power off when the power button is pressed. The Opus will simply "simulate" the power button being pressed.
