What have you tried so far to resolve the problem?

lol DSG is my second fav colour on the mach's, but probably my fav on gt's (I dont think the torch red looks that great on gts, on the mach with the different hood it makes the body lines just jump out).

I've tried different fuse ratings, I've tried checking my grounds, but the problem still keeps happening. I'm assuming it must be something to do with the battery severely dropping during cranking because the other day (before it blew) it was working fine. I parked the car for literally 2 minutes and when I came back the system wouldn't boot up.

If you check back on the other thread you msg'd me about, you'll see its working again. Either I was a complete moron or my car is punishing me for putting 20,000km on it since I got it back in july

Hey, just a quick update:

I got the Opus 150W in the mail on Saturday and installed it yesterday, wired directly to the battery. It seems to be working, although I wasn't able to test whether or not it worked from a cold-engine startup. I'll test that when I get home today.

I should have just shelled out the extra money for the Opus in the beginning instead of wasting ~$90 for the ITPS which didn't suit my needs and the PW200 which blew up. Oh well. Chalk it up to experience.

Thanks to y'all for your help.

Just another quick question, I haven't looked over the Opus documentation yet, but can the Opus 150W also control/delay amplifier turn-on?

Pece!

Dave

i'm not sure about the 150w, but there is a $15 extra charge for the 90w for this harness. Provides a 12v signal 20 seconds after the comp turns on to power on auxiallry devices, ie: amp
