opus problems

I have two problems...which I am assuming are due to my opus 150.
My Carputer worked fine for almost a month with no problems. But now I'm having a couple of issues:
1)the opus no longer triggers the computer to turn on/off with the ignition. Worked before, but not now. I used my voltmeter to test the little two pin connector, no more 5v pulse.
2)the computer just shuts off competely after 45-60 min out of nowhere. I have to disconnect the main 12v line and reconnect it, then power on the computer and it will work again for another 45-60min period.
Can someone help me out with these problems?
I'm running it on a new car with a healthy battery, and the opus 150 has had rando's mod (kill 5v and standby) done to it from day 1.
Just seems weird that it would work fine then stop outta nowhere.
I have 4 awg wire leading to a distro block, which splits into two 8 awg wires, for my opus and amp.

Is it properly ventilated? What do you mean by no triggering the computer?
BTW, what mod are you talking about? Did you try running it without the amp? Do you use a head unit. If so, are the remote wires from the amp and the PSU comming from the same wire on the HU?

it's in the trunk of my car and worked fine for a month so i assume it's ventilated well enough. by triggering i mean it doesn't turn the computer on and off anymore with the ignition. haven't tried it without the amp. no i don't use a head unit. the ignition wire comes from a fuse panel up front and leads to a delay timer for the amp and also to the yellow wire on the opus. thanks!

The manual says you should not share opus power with anything and that it should be directly connected to the battery, if you contact opus expect to hear that again.

I'm sure he will not, as they ment not to share the cables if you use the 12AWG wire that they recommended.
