Just got my new M1-ITX power supply and I have a question about stand by

Just received in the post my new m1-ITX power supply and everything works fine when using hibernate but when using "Stand By" mode I have a small problem

Upon starting the engine the system will boot up fine. Once booted the system works ok, when the engine is stopped the system will go into stand by. Upon starting the engine again the M1-ATX will reset making the PC boot from fresh with a full standard Windows boot of 1 min instead of the 3 seconds that "Standy By" mode should support.

Does the new pic fix this issue?

I'm guessing you already checked the jumper settings to verify that the hardoff setting is set to something other than the really short 30 or 45 second setting. I think the setting they fixed in the PIC update was the hardoff=Never setting.

If the jumper is set right, and it's still doing a hard-reset when you turn the car back on, make sure the +12V line going to the M1 is a constant +12V, even when the car is off and that it's connected to the correct terminal.

I had to set in the bios the power management mode of STR1 only and this fixed things. Nice, very nice.

@ drait thanx for your help with that one even though it didn't help that much it gave me the energry to try some more then I figured it out.
