Carnetix P1900 Issues

Trying to get some info from people that use this PSU, I'm using it on the Commell LV-671, and I'm trying to get the system to go into standby.
The PSU is supposed to keep power going through while sending an ACPI signal to the board. (I set it to go on standby)
Well after double checking my jumpers I realized that something is up with the p1900. I'm pretty sure that the output power is supposed to be set so that it stays on even after ignition if off. Jumper JP1 shorted pins 5-6.
I'm almost 100% that my settings are correct.
Has anyone tried to do standby with the p1900?? I don't have anything plugged in to the unit other than the computer; no monitor, no usb hub... I read in the manual that if the draw was higher than 1 watt the 1900 would cut power off.
Any Suggestions??

I done standby in the form of "sleep" on my Mac Mini using the P1900.

Try posting up on the Carnetix forums to get an answer. MikeH monitors them closely.

So, you do get power going through after engine is off??
As long as someone has tried it, then I know it's not the p1900.
I'll check the forums, maybe someone has tried it. Thanks!

Eddie,

Sorry for the late response....out of town.

You are correct. JP1 5-6 will put the P1900 into Standby instead of Hibernate. This means that the P1900 will continue to put out +19V after it has issued the ACPI pulse to your PC. It then shuts down the fan and monitors the current draw of your system. If the current is higher than about 1 amp it will shut down power to prevent the P1900 from being damaged (the fan is turned off in Standby mode).

Have you configured your mobo to go into Standby? Is it perhaps drawing more than 1 amp while in Standby mode? If so, this would cause the abrupt power shut down.
