i use m1 atx as normal psu

set pin as
a=off
b=off
c=off
d=off
e=off

but pc reset when start the car!!!!!!
is the m1 atx capable of surviving tough car engine cranks (down to 5.7V) as well as transient over-voltage situations?
is normal?

Is the batteri in a good condition?
And did you wire directly from the battery regarding the 12+ and -?

Mine is working flawlessly, exept from the the J2 jumper to start the Amp but lookes like no one have have a solution for that...

What do you mean with the J2 jumper to start the Amp, I start my amps from the m1 and it works very good.

I have measured and the voltmeter shows 11.80 volts.
No power on to amp from there not even a 12v reley would start. (had it connected for some minutes.)

did you connect the pin that's closest to the caps only?

It doesnt work for me at all. tried this 3 times now

I had the same problem the BIOS power save setting needs to be set to STR3 or something like that.

Also mine failed to work untill I replace the battery even thought it was reading 11.8v at crank

Many people on here told me to not replace the battery but once it was replaced every thing worked floorlessly (if there is such a word).

The amp and M1-ATX need to have a common ground for the amp-turn-on to work. Have you used a multi-meter to test this? Mine works flawlessly. And, yes, it's the connection closest to the capacitor that I use.

Not on mine. Only one pin is utilized and it is the positive pin.

11.9 is a low value for an american car. I dont know about european cars. But that might be the problem that your battery is not holding a charge as well as it should and when your car starts it drops the voltage way to low. my car only goes down to 9 volts when I start it. But I also have 14.5 volts when my car is running. under 12 with the car running just seems low to me.
