Centrafuse and Opus not shutting down correctly

I like using centrafuse 1.4, but have always had a problem with all versions and my opus powersupply.

When the opus wants to power down the computer it sends a signal (the same as clicking the power button), however, while centrafuse is running the computer never gets this signal. Basically i manually shutdown centrafuse when i turn off the car to ensure that windows receives the signal. Is this a known issue where centrafuse is 'eating' the signal? or perhaps something is wrong with my setup?
