1) Drivesoft is simply a piece of software. As such, it's independent of the power supply.
2) Bumping your thread after two hours makes your post more likely to be ignored.
3) Drivesoft is what's used by the fine folks at West Coast Customs (aka Mad Mike). Every install I've ever seen him do on Pimp My Ride has used an inverter.
4) There are very few people here who give a rats *** about Drivesoft. Their company reps have perused these forums and behaved like illiterate dickheads.

1) Well I see on the site that Drivesoft does have lite version, and it also has a hardware package or what they call: Drivesoft System with DFS (Driver Friendly Software - full version software, provided with hardware)
2) I thought w/ this being the most informative carpc site people would know what works, and would have the info.
3) From Drivesofts site: INSTALLATION DOES NOT REQUIRE A POWER INVERTER. Could they have used another PC and or an inverter for something else.
4) I don't care about Drivesoft either (obviously just wondering what they use as a DC-DC power supply). I have no run ins with Drivesoft on the forum... just you.
5) Thanks for being so informative... Maybe you should've just ignored it if you didn't have the answer to my question.

If there is any other DC-DC PSU on the market, you will definitely find it here.
