Custom mount for my OPUS 150W in ATX case

I've searched and searched for this type of thread, but haven't found anyone with pics. I know I have new status, but its because I've searched and searched before asking any questions or creating any new posts. So please don't flame, hehehe

LOL, with my disclaimer out of the way, I present to you my sunday afternoon project of creating a way to mount the OPUS 150w power supply in my Aspire X-Qpack MicroATX case. Eyeballing the Opus against the factory power supply showed that it was smaller, and wouldn't fit the stock mounting points. So I began my quest to make it fit. I went to my local Home Depot and purchashed three of the following metal brackets:

They were about $0.70 each, and seemed to fit what I was looking for (with some modification of course).

So I get home, and try them out. Looks like they'll fit. I decided to use one stock mounting point from my case for the opus, the lower left corner, I added a washer, otherwise, the screw would push against the board inside.

Sorry to jump steps, I basically mounted the bottom left corner losely, and would hold the plate up to see how much to cut. This was the hard part, since a hacksaw would take all day, so I used a jigsaw with a metal blade, the blade shook the bracket a little bit, and bent it slightly, but a hammer on a flat surface fixed it quickly. I then used a metal file to get all the rough spots out. My focus of the project was for a solid mount, and not for anything stylish.

After a couple test fits, heres the progress:

Came out pretty nice, I just had to open up the Opus and move the power plug to the backside (reason for the hole there).

So thats how I custom mounted my opus, I hope this helps others out trying to figure out how to do something similar.

Thanks, and for reference, its a Simpson® Strong-Tie, part #: TP15. One thing I forgot to mention, is that its feels rock solid when you try and wiggle the Opus from inside the case, so you can tell its not going anywhere.
