Keypower's 250w DC-DC converter
Thought you guys could use some info on Keypower's dc-dc converter since I couldn't find any in the forums.
Here's the unit
I called them today and their KP-DX 250H ATX converter costs $198 by itself. At this time they are out of stock, and will receive their next shipment on 1-15-02. They only accept credit cards from first time buyers, and I think they'll only accept orders from businesses. The only reason I say that is because when I requested bulk pricing, they asked me to fax them my company information.
Anyhoo, the guy said their bulk orders (10-50 units) cost $149 per unit, which is 50 bucks saved.
I originally wanted to buy their converter, but $198 is expensive. If that Sunpower company doesn't come through, we should get a bulk order together for Keypower's converter. Let me know if you guys are interested and we can get a bulk order together.
Thanks.

By searching I can't believe that you didn't find anything on the Keypower PSU because it was a hot topic about 2-3 months ago...including a group buy that occurred. Looks like you missed out on it, but there is another group buy going on for a different brand PSU.
Here is the link to the group buy for the keypower a couple months back.
Good Luck!

Great, if we can get a few more people interested i'll compile a list, addys, pricing and so on.
If you would like to get into this group buy, post a reply that you're in, and send me an email with your shipping address. Once we get 10 total people, I'll keep you all informed via email.
Thanks guys!
Lets not miss out on this opportunity!

Ok guys, if you want to be officially in this group buy you must do the following:
1 - Make sure you definitely want the DC-DC Converter. Here's the unit. And here's the last post on the unit incase you want more feedback
2 - Post in this message that you're in and send me an email with your shipping address, name and info.
3 - Also, please sign up an account with Paypal. They are a secure online form of payment transactions via bank or credit card. I chose this site because of the uniform payment method, so as to avoid checks comming in from this way and that.
Once we have 10 people that have done these three things and confirmed it with me via email, I will email everyone with the total and order the units.
Lets get some Converters!!!

Alright guys, I called them again today and here's an update:
I confirmed that we could get 10 units for 149 each.
Shipping total will be about 20 bucks for all of the units.
So if you're interested, follow the instructions in my previous post and we can get our converters ASAP!
Thanks.
