i acculaay had this problem an dknow the solution. just ground the rca cables outside of the xbox. i had mine running into my pioneer stereo throught the ip interface and i kept hearing noise. so i touched the metal sheiding around the plug to the edge of the ciggerette lighter (ground) and it went away. i can supply pics if needed.

hi

open the xbox up ... run a ground to the outside of the rca outputs on the xbox!! then ground it to the car in differnt places ..

or

run a ground to the outside of the rca outputs on the xbox,
then take that ground out side the case where the 2pin power cable is.. put a bullet conector on it ... then from the xbox plug (that u are plugin in to the inverter) take a cable from the earth (top pin) down the ac cable with a female bullet .. conect it to the male bullet comin out of the xbox, try that!

Easy way is to either solder a wire to the outer shell of the rca cable or if it has a woven outer shield, attach a wire to it and connect it to ground. Again check that everything you are grounding is not an audio or power line, makes bad smoke
