Extending DSATX cables?

Is there any issues with extending the wires from a DSATX about 12" or so?

I think 12" is overestimating a little bit, but I think I'm going to have to mount it outside of the case, so I need some extra wire length. I'm a little bummed since its only about 1/4" from clearing. Things are really packed together inside the Dell SFF case though, so I don't have a lot of alternate locations to mess with in there.

You shouldn't have any issues at that length. There are ATX extension cables.(http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=...Search+Froogle) There is a 6 inch version, if that is long enough, as I said, 6 inches shouldn't change anything, it is just not long enough to introduce a perceptible loss.
