Advice on tank circuit !

Hey anyone can guide me .. i have in my hands a 22000uf/25v caps and a MBR3045 diode..

how do i wire it up to make a tank circuit...?

i mean i have the diode which has three points A K A and the caps has + & - ... correct me if i am wrong

i connect the +of the caps to the k of the diode and connect the A's of the diode to the +12of the car..

and connect the - of the caps to ground and the +of the caps to the PSu.

well?

any advice

Why do you need a tank circuit if you have a DC-DC power supply?

Or do you just want to make more money off of my designs? :-)

wouldnt the tank circuit prevent the computer from restarting if it is being run in accessory position, and then the car is started. with the high strain on the battery, the tank circuit should maintain the power to the dc-dc supply. at least thats what i think mastero is trying to get at here. maybe im way wrong.

I have a power supply like sproggys and my computer doesn't need a tank circuit and I have a crappy battery that drops to 8 volts when I restart.

yes jeff your right i dont require the Tank circuit...

The reason is that shaonuff needs one and he asked me to make him one.... in exchange for something ..
