Computer doesn't resume from standby...Opus 120

So, I've had my carPC since spring time, and it works fine, basically, my computer will go into standby when i take out my keys, but when I turn the car on again, it will start up windows from scratch, not resuming from standby...

I just installed a sub today, and I don't know if some wires got messed up, but is it a jumper issue? I didn't see anything different in the wiring, or is it a windows setting?

VIA 13000
Opus 120
2.5" HD
512mb ram

Everything was working fine up to this point, it resumed from standby and everything, but all of a sudden, it will go into standby, but do a normal startup when the key comes back...I checked windows "power options" settings, and nothing seems wrong...

Any ideas? I'm sure this issue has been asked before, but I can't find a situation that matched this, so if this has been posted before, a link would be appreciated, thank you for your time.

Make sure that the red wire on your opus still has power when you turn the car off...

you said you wired a sub... so I would guess you wired a amp as well.. and somewhere you might have gotten wires mixed up etc etc...

take a voltmeter and make sure you still have 12v at it when the car is off.. cos if your power supply doesnt have power.. your computer wont have power.... and then standby wont work...

If the RED stays on the PC will never get triggered to shut down (standby) so that is kinda besides the point. Make sure your middle jumper is loaded. Do you get 2 blinks at any point?

are you sure its not the yellow wire that triggers it?

but then again.. I might have the two wires confused...

I stand corrected .. the yellow wire does indeed need to be wired to always on 12V... its the red wire that is the ignition wire....

my bad....

EDIT: btw.. its RED for constant 12V on the OPUS 150w and yellow for ignition... you would think they would keep things the same between their different models.. but I digress....

well, it boots up on ignition, and it goes into standby properly, and I haven't checked yet, I haven't been to the car all day, but I have a feeling that the jumper got loose...I'll take a look at all the suggestions, but it seems that everyone thinks its a hardware/wiring issue, and not a software issue in windows.

Thank you for your time and suggestions.

*sigh* as i was installing the sub, I somehow knocked off the jumper on the opus, and putting it back solved it...thank god the jumper was laying right under the powersupply, otherwise I didn't feel like doing a bit of soldering while laying down. Thank you for your time everyone.
