static _whirl noisy using carntix

Last night i finally get sometime to test my carpc to figure out where the noisy and static noisy from. This is how i setup the carpc. My compaq laptop is powered up by Carntix P1900, the sound output of laptop go through the cd changer port (using a auxilary adapter). I soldered the power button of the laptop. The pc working fine till day with the noisy. Last night i unpluged the DC power into my laptop, let it run from laptop battery, all the noisy and static, and static to the lcd screen is gone. so is there anybody can help me figure out what's my next step??

you might wanna try using some sort of "choke" AC filter, ...... i had a problem similar to this, i was getting AC noise through the PS, i picked one of these handy dandy Isolaters, "a choke and some capaciters..."Walmarts AC filter try adding that between your Audio out and in on your AUX adapter, Thats the best i can explain it, i suck at explaining things o.O

My noise completely disappeared after using a PAC noise filter/ground loop isolator. I have an extra one available, Private Message me if interested.

I'm getting the same noise, and my fan on the psu is acting up. I think that it is the power supply. My power supply is even making a clicking noise (not through speakers, this is the unit itself) in addition to the noise in the speakers and lcd. I had another power supply for my laptop that didn't do this (cheap ebay dc dc supply) even with the car running. I'm sure that my power supply is defective as I tested it on my jump start battery in the house and the fan does the exact same thing with it.
