Carnetix defeating the 60 second startup

Morning All

I've installed a carnetix power supply. I've got a question though....I've noticed if i start the car but don't wait for the carnetix to finish booting up and then kill the power to the car, the carnetix stays on..How do i aleviate this problem..I don't actually have the computer car yet and for the time being I'm using it as the on off for my amp using the DLYON lead.

Suggestions?
