Carnetix Fried Monitor

So my basic setup is. I have a good 12v(tested it with multimeter) coming into the car going into 1 12v battery and 1 ground of the carnetix. I soldered the connectors for my pc and monitor to 1 red primary output and 1 black ground for the pc and set JP6 to 19v output. For the monitor I soldered the brown and black to the monitor connector and had JP2 set to 12V and JP5 to +12V/13V Setting. I also have the CNX-P5V regulator installed. I followed the instructions to the dot. I had the pc and monitor plugged in but no USB device. Could that have been it? I also noticed that when I rev my engine or change radio stations my carnetix shuts off, or goes into shutdown mode and shuts down. I turn it on and smoke comes out of my monitor.....
