what is the cheapest DC to DC ATX power supply available?

Is the most inexpensive one the Pc Power and Cooling one for $129, or does someone sell another DC to DC ATX power supply for less?

Sproggy. $60 USD. Mastero sells a kit with most components included, the rest you can get for free... with some creativity. Of course, you dlo have to build it yourself. Then again the whole idea of an mp3car is to do everything custom, right?

Hey how do you look it up on pricewatch? I mean what search terms do you use, cause I can't find it. If it is in fact 80 then it seems to me its the best deal so far. Please provide a link if anyone has a direct one, thanks.

Just out of curiousity Eugenen... I tried what you suggested and I see NO signs of the PC Power DC PSU for $80.....

I went to PC Power's website and copied the part number and pasted it into Pricewatch.com and got a few results but none where relevant.....

I wish you where right, but I don't think you are.....

Even though this may sound negative, I don't intend that. Eugenen is FIRST CLASS.... if he says it can be done then it can be......

You may have seen a different power supply that was listed on price watch a little while ago. It was a 300W AC-DC supply for $80. As far as I can tell, no other places sell PC Pwer and Cooling supplies like this one.

I see that one now, But a couple weeks ago when I looked for the 12v one, there were about three results and this one that sells the 300W one.

Is the PC Power and Cooling website the only place you can get the power supply? seems like theres not too much competition...
