Inverter switch off during cranking
Can I use the 12V from the PC PSU to power the inverter during cranking instead of a second battery?
I have read that the 12V can handle 12A.

No way, your inverter may pull way to much power for your PC to support, plus if your computer is being powered by your inverter how do you think this is going to work.

I need to make a chicken, and I hear they come from eggs. But I don't have an egg, so I think I need a chicken to make an egg for me first. Does that sound right?

That's like plugging a power strip into itself and wondering why it won't turn on.

Faraday and I go way back, but I have got no idea how those work. That's wicked! Batteries and inverters? Is it a hall effect type of thing, only with microwave? I wonder what the efficiency would be. Utilities could put transmitters along the street and recievers in automobiles, and we could get a whole new kind of power bill.

Interesting that there are no specs or technical information on that device. That's how Napoleon and Kip got duped with their time machine. Just like the kit I got when I was 10 that explained how to make a spaceship out of a vacuum cleaner. One thing it did do, suck and made noise. Such a tragedy though, I really wanted to be an astronaut too...
