Request 1) Echo not only the value in the NaviVoice window when it hears a command. So it will say not only '24' but '24 - Focus Routis' if that makes sense.
Request 2) Have an option to keep it minimized on the taskbar, not only as a icon by the clock.

Frodo, are you saying you'll see what you can do about it now as in 1.08 or for 1.09?

I'm confused a little... You say that would be possible if FrodoPlayer didn't have the pop up of Artist / Title / Album?
So example.. Let's just say in FP the search can come up by saying "F". Your saying that with your software I can say words (not letters) and it will recognize them and enter the entire word?
IE: Park, Diamond, Vanilla
??

to prevent looping why dont you have it ignore commands while saying voice confirmations
and also
does 'mic off' or 'done' cause navivoice to stop recognizing commands or just to stop acting on commands

thanks and yeah thats what i thought
if there was a way to stop listening to commands not just notacting on commands i think it would be better.
cuase when i say done i start talking or turn up the music
my m10k gets all bogged down trying to still figure stuff out
i dont know delphi
i know vb and c++ but they have both been a while
if 'done' was said
then hold until mic on said
something like that
i donno
just a thought

Exactly. If Frodo had an option for like search by artist as a keystroke then you could say "eminem" and it would find all the eminem songs, etc..

When you say "mic off" or "done" it will stop doing the actions associated to the commands. If I were to cut off the mic then it would not be able to hear "leelo" or "mic on".

No. It can't just look for one phrase because it would still have to listen.

Ok.. I asked this question in the "NaviVoice 6 Released" thread:
How the heck do you work with the Macros?
I'm looking in your NaviVoice.doc as I type this and I'm confused as all get out... Did you make it possible that saying a word will do a multiple key press?
IE: I say "Search" and NaviVoice presses CTRL+ALT+5 all at the same time. I seen in your doc it says "VK_CONTROL 11 CTRL key" and "VK_MENU 12 ALT key"....
Does that mean in the NaviVoice.ini I create an entry named:
"program_close460=VK_CONTROL 11,VK_MENU 12,5"
and assign <p val="460">search</p> in the XML file?
Is that how this works?? What does the "," and the "^" mean in the INI files under the programs heading? I did set Automate up to be able to search in FrodoPlayer so when I get this part working it will be shweet!

I did find a bug... the timer won't reset if you use the macros.
About your problem: EACH key has to be separated by a comma (,) and end the VK_ keys in a (^) when you want to let go of them (otherwise NaviVoice will keep on holding the VK_ key forever). For example if I want to do CTRL + SHIFT + D I have to have it be "program_close454=VK_SHIFT,VK_CONTROL,D,^". Also, how'd u get multiple keys to work in Frodo? I can only do one key, so no Alt, Ctrl combos.

I just thought of a solution for searching in frodoplayer for 1.09.
The functionality is already there.
You send a web request to frodoplayer, just like through a browser.
You would send it like this:
Code:
http://localhost:37635/FPCOMMAND?FND=SEARCHDUMPARTIST&ITEM=eminem
And just throw away the feedback. Can easily be done through api.
Frodo

That would just be a run program function
