It does nto have the functionality yet to read any data stream unless I already programmed it it

I actually don't understand what that means. Is there no way to take the speaker output and route it through the microphone or line input so that the computer picks up the voice as if you were in the vehicle? In return, to have it respond, simply engage a relay and send audio through the microphone on the walkie talkie. Am I making it to sound too simplistic or is there more to this I simply am not getting?

NaviVoice will work with any microphone that is plugged in to your computer. So if you get a micrphone that is long distance, then it should work.

Well, the genie will only pop up if you're using SAPI 4 and forgot to put in an empty character like I said

Next version: maybe next week. My computer is reinstalled. As you can see, I've released a new version of GammaControl (link in sig) already.

wow! i say. I just now came across the software and was able to try it out last night for a few min.

Looks impressive.
I have a question...

when you issue a command, it responds after the command is executed, can this response be selected at random from predefined lines?

for example:
I say: Testing 1 2 3.
navivoice says: (i hear you. | test is good. | its working | Im alive! )

It would select of of those lines.

I remember a while back when i was programing a desktop assistant in VB6 that this could be done quite nicely. It adds a more life-like interaction.

Can this be done with NaviVoice? I'll be playing with this program a little more tonight after i get home from work. ^_^

just for cool factor.

Not in the current version. Haven't done programming in a while. I get no respect on these forums

no respect? thats sad to hear. This program appears to be worthy of much praise.
Any plans on implementing such a feature? I should stop asking q's for now and read this thread. I've only read a few posts

I'm just very impressed and excited about this program as I have been wondering how to get my msagent / desktop assistant project to always listen.

I mean the feature isn't hard to implement. I jut have to install all this **** into delphi to actually open up the program. And getting no respect on the forums isn't making me any more motivated.
