Also I have started to play with Nlite XP for my car and finally got my first build working...but I can't get NaviVoice to run...do you know what you need...I thought that I left what was needed but no go...

I have all the correct files cause I intalled that same ones on my desktop and it works...

Some help PLS

Must be something to do with nlite. I tested out that part of the INI and it works fine. Opens it up and closes it, etc...

one quick Q
every time you change the xml file you have to restart it to reconize the new enteries...right

Yes. Always with the XML, sometimes for the INI. XML gets read only at startup, and some INI entrees are also read only at startup.

Anyone with a nlited XP pro that is running NaviVoice...that could either post/pm their setting.ini to me so that on my next build I can maybe figure out what not, to not install... if that makes any sence...

Yeh, I'd love to know what the problem with nLite is also

I used nLite to build XP Pro, NaviVoice works except if I try to use SAPI. I kept thinking it was something wrong with SAPI, installed again using latest version of Office2003 CD, but same problem. Each time a new version of NaviVoice comes out or apply a windows update I try again....with no luck.

On my other machines that were NOT built using nLite everything works fine.

Will be very interested if someone finds the problem with this, as my logitech mic is finially arriving in the morning and want to have this running in the car over the coming weekend.

I'll be playing with it when I get around to nLiteing windows.

The other person who had trouble with nLite + NaviVoice was a guy with a mazda and a monkey avatar.

Anyone ever figure out what was removed from their nLite install? I'm really starting to like this NaviVoice and I'm just about to say screw the nLite and do a full Windows install so I can use it.
